Groundnut→ magnetic box → cleaning → crusher → flaking roll → cooker → oil prepre-ssing → to extraction workshop

Main Parts: 
1. Peanut: It’s a kind of main oil seeds. It’s used to make peanut oil around the world.
The oil content in peanut seed is about 48-55%.

2. Magnetic box: Clearing the iron impurity which might be in the peanut. Because the iron impurity will  be harmful to the screw of extrusion machine.
3. Cleaning: This parts have different size cleaning sieves to clean the different impur-ities. After going through this 
part, most of the impurities are moved from peanut.

4. Crusher: Because of the big size of peanut, it need to be crushed to small pieces. The
crusher will help to get more peanut oil from the seeds.

5. Cooker: This machine can adjust the water content of the peanut. It’s also good for 
the prepressing and oil extra-ction section.

6. Prepressing: The press machine is used to take parts of the oil in the peanut first, because the high oil content in the 
peanut. Then the crude oil will sent to peanut oil refinery workshop, and the cake will 
sent to peanut oil extraction workshop.

Main Parts:

1. Solvent pumps: continuously spray solvent to the rotary-typr extractor.

2. Roary extractor: spray and soak the prepressed cake with solvent so that oil fats can 
be dissolved in solvent 
(form miscella). 

3. DTDC: used to separate the solvent from the wet meal.

4. Miscella tank 1st: pump the miscella ( oil with solvent) into the miscella 1st, then 
add 10% saline water to it. The phospholipid and impurities in the miscella will react 
with the saline water, at last the reactant precipitate, reaching the goal of purifying.

5. Miscella tank 2nd: the purified miscella will be pumped into it.

6. Miscella stripping: it will remove the remaining solvent in miscella. And the solvent 
will be discharged to condenser for recycling.

7. Condensers: used to cooling the solvent gas separated from the wet meal and mis-cella for recycling.

Crude peanut oil → degumming and deacidification→ decolorization →deodorization

Main Processes:

1. Degumming and deacidification: The gumming is moved by phosphoric acid and 
hot water. There are two ways to move the acid in the peanut oil. One is chemical 
way, the other one is physical way.The chemical way is using NaOH to react with acid.
This way is suitable for the capacity of 5-30T per day.  The physical way is using 
steam and centrifugal to move the acid. It is for capacity from 30-600TPD.

2. Decolorization: This step is used to adjust the color of the oil.

3. Deodorization: The function of this step is to move the special smell in the oil. This is an  important stand-ard for refined peanut oil.

Continuous Cooking Oil Refinery

Production information: Continuous cooking oil refinery is the newest technology to refine edible oil. Comparing with batch oil refinery and semi-continuous oil refinery, it has following advantages.
 1.The oil consumption in the whole process is less. 
2.The whole process can be controlled by computer, so the big capacity can be processed per day. 
3.The consumption of auxiliary matters is reduced, so the running cost is lower. 
4.The auxiliary matter is added according to the crude oil by the computer. The oil quality is more stable. 
5.The degree of automation is improved. The floor space is less than batch oil refinery and semi-continuous oil refinery. Degumming: The oil after degumming is heated to 110℃. Then the oil is sent to white clay mixing tank. The white clay is transported to clay storage tank from the white clay box. The white clay is added by the quantity of oil. 
Disc centrifugal: The disc centrifugal is the central part in the degumming. The whole line includes both chemical and physical way. 
Centrifugal mixer: The centrifugal mixer can mix the materials completely. It also can finish the process in a short time. The combination of short mix and long mix ensure the effect of refinery.  
Vacuum dryer: The stainless steel vacuum dryer is used to move the water in the oil. Decolorization tower: In the continuous oil refinery, the decolorization tower is used to light the color of the oil. The meters of this tower is saving energy and reduce the vacuum leak. 
Deacidification and deodorization system: Deodorization section is very important for producing high quality cooking oil. The technology of deodorization influence the oil quality. This deodorization tower can move both the free fatty acid and keep the good smell of the cooking oil. At the same time, this tower can save the direct steam. The consumption of steam is only 30-50% of the normal tower. The continuous cooking oil refinery is suitable for large scale oil plant. It can process various kinds of oil seeds, such as soybean, peanut, corn, rapeseed, cottonseed, etc. The whole way is continuous and the oil consumption is less.  It also can used to get different standard cooking oil.

Sunflower oil refining machine

Description of sunflower oil refining machine:

Quantitive crude sunflower oil is pumped to pipe filters; then filtered oil is sent to heat exchanger. Heated oil is mixed with phodphoric acid in the mixer before going to the reaction tank. After reaction and cooling, the oil enters another mixer to mix with caustic alkali liquid to neutralize. The neutralized oil enters the centrifugal to separate soap from oil. Separated oil still contents some quantity of soap that should be removed. By mixing with hot water, the oil is washed. Then a centrifugal is used to separate the water with residual soap from oil.
De-gummed and neutralized oil is pumped into vacuum drier, and then dried oil is cooled by a heat exchanger and sent into a storage tank. De-gummed and neutralized oil is sent to bleaching section to bleach. Oil to be bleached is pumped to mixed tank and heating tank separately. A proportion of oil to be bleached is pumped into a mixing tank to mix with dosed bentonite, and another part of oil to be bleached is pumped to the heater. The mixture and the heated oil go into the bleaching tank to de-colourize. Consequently, the mixture of oil and bentonite is pumped into leaf filter to remove deposable bentonite.
Parallel leaf filters make it possible to perform continuous operation of bleaching. Filtered oil is pumped into the storage tank after being cooled in a heat exchanger and filtered safely.

2. Working process of Cooking oil refinery making machine:

(1)Pump crude Cooking oil into refinery tank and heat with conduction oil, and the temperature will reach about 70°C-80°C after one hour. Add acid or alkali to separate according to the acid value. After one hour's processing and 4-6hours deposit, then convey soap stock to storage tank.

(2)Pump refined oil into decoloring/bleaching tank. When it is up to 90-110°C after one hour's heating, add clay into tank for 20min's processing. Then separate clay and oil with filter.

(3)Put decolorizing oil into deodorization tank with vacuum pump. Heat and process with steam for odor removal. After filtering, you will get final oil product.

Process flow sunflower seeds oil solvent extraction (leaching) plant:

The material (pressed sunflower seed cake from pretreatment) is sent to the extractor by the airtight packing auger. The material, sunflower cake will be sprayed for extraction (leaching) by the solvent (n-hexane) or mixed oil after they fall into the extractor. The wet dreg (after dripping), falling into the conveyor and be sent to the evapo-separated machine. After steaming, baking and desolventizing, the dreg will be sent to the dreg storehouse. Miscella after extraction enters into the first and second long tube evaporator for separating the steam and solvent, and then sunflower miscells flow into the stripping tower for desorption the remaining solvent of crude sunflower oil. The extracted crude sunflower oil from the last process will be sent into the crude sunflower oil tank for crude sunflower oil refining plant. The solvent vapors from the extractor, evapo-separated machine, evaporator, stripper tower will be recycled in the cooling system. The solvent after cooling will be collected in the fresh solvent tank for reusing in the sunflower oil solvent extraction process plant.
